Yes You Can – GF/DF Banana Bread in Three Easy Steps! + WIN

Yes You Can – GF/DF Banana Bread in Three Easy Steps! + WIN

If you’re a frequent reader of the blog you may have noticed that there have been less recipes (okay, less of everything really) this year. For non-blog regulars, don’t worry we’ll get to the Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free but Taste FULL Banana Bread recipe super quick (if you’re that impatient scroll down quickly ;)).

There have been less recipes lately for a few reasons, the biggest one being that I’ve had a lot on my plate this year between working, running bootcamp, challenges at bootcamp and my own training. This hasn’t left a lot of time for recipe testing, oh and I had a weight cut at the start of this year too – meaning that I couldn’t eat everything I made, so I just didn’t make much.

Never fear, today I’ve got the easiest way to make delicious Gluten Free Banana Bread (you’d actually be surprised it’s Gluten Free!) and to make it even better – there is only three steps to having the oven dinging and the house smelling amazing!

Gluten Free, Dairy Free Banana Bread in 3 Easy Steps

Yes, I feel like a bit of a fraud for giving out this ‘recipe’ as it’s so damn simple! You could easily get the kids to whip this one up for you (you could simply turn the oven on and off and take the loaf in and out of the oven!).

Ingredients
1 Box YesYouCan Gluten Free Banana Bread Baking Mix
170ml Water
80g Coconut Oil (or Butter if not Dairy Free, or Margarine if you’re that way inclined – (I am not!))
3 Eggs (Use Egg replacer if you need it to be Egg free too).

Instructions
1. Open Box of YesYouCan Banana Bread mix and put into a bowl, add all other ingredients into the bowl and combine.
2. Insert into oven for 40-45mins.
3. Pull out of oven and let cool (or eat warm with butter – yes please!).

Gluten Free, Dairy Free Banana Bread in 3 Easy Steps

I kid you not – anyone could make this Banana Bread! So simple and no need to have all of the different ingredients on hand or muck around with different gluten-free flours.

If you want to get fancy you could chop a banana up and put it on the top (fun fact – I can’t stand the texture of banana’s – but love banana bread and banana cake – go figure!), or spread through some chocolate chips or chopped up cocoa butter before baking (I did this ;)).

I hadn’t heard of the YesYouCan baking mixes before but am super stoked to have discovered them as it makes it a lot easier when you are under time pressure but need or want to whip up a treat in a rush.

We’ve also tried the Pancake Mix which is awesome as you just add water and shake the container then cook as usual. I’m saving the multi grain bread mix for when our pumpkins are fully grown so we can have homemade pumpkin soup and bread fresh from the oven.

The hero of the range is the Red Velvet Cupcakes! Yes, Gluten Free Red Velvet cupcakes at your fingertips with only a few simple steps – what more could you want?!
