Things got away on me a little bit this month, usually I do my monthly round-up of things I have been loving on the last day of the month, clearly that didn’t happen this month. Now we are a quarter of the way through the year (I kid you not!) and it’s time to start thinking about firewood and bringing out the electric blanket.
The weather is starting to cool down but that doesn’t need to be a bad thing as it does mean that we will have an excuse for tucking into bed early and watching movies in bed! If you’re a fan of entering competitions then make sure you read through to the end as we have TWO opportunities to win today! Without further ado here are some of the things I have been loving this month.
// Chocolate Brownie Bites
I posted about these Chocolate Brownie Bites earlier this month but they really do deserve repeating as they are delicious! Made with good for you ingredients, they are naturally sugar free, dairy free and refined sugar free but are super delicious. I haven’t tried using pecans in bliss balls or bites like these before but they really are a delicious addition.
// New Girl
It was my birthday on St Patricks day and all I wanted to do for the day was to chill in bed and watch movies or T.V programmes. We are so busy with working, bootcamp, our own training and just all the weekend activities that pop up that I really just wanted to chill. I took a bootcamp class in the morning then did a quick training session at the gym then we spent the rest of the day in bed watching episodes of New Girl (from the very start!). We finished the day off with some pizza and ice-cream which was something I had been looking forward too since I started my 60 day clean eating challenge.
// Garage – Home Gym Progress
Many of you will know that we purchased our first home at the end of last year. We have been slowly renovating it and have gotten rid of the single garage that was no good for what we wanted and have been waiting on getting a new garage built. I’m super happy that this has now been started and has passed council consent, been boxed up and now the concrete has been poured. By the end of April we should have a brand new (huge) garage which will be our home gym and office.
// Currently Reading
I currently have three books on the go, but I have been seriously getting into the latest from Nicky Pellegrino; Under Italian Skies. I was lucky enough to receive a pre-release edition of the book and I must say that it is really good. If you are at all into travel then I know you will really love it. There is something whimsical about swapping houses with someone you don’t know, and even more so if you end up in a small town in Italy. Under Italian Skies is due out April 16th, in all good book stores.
// Scent of the Month
This month I tried a scent that I had originally dismissed. Luna is a very popular scent in the Scentsy wickless candles I sell so I thought I would give it a try and I actually really really like it! Luna is a combination of White florals โ jasmine, sweet pea, freesia, juicy berries, and sandalwood. If you are in need of a mothers day present we also have some awesome gift sets at the moment which save you a tonne of $! Check them out here!
// Win a Food Show Hamper
The Christchurch Food Show is on this weekend (8-10th April) and to celebrate we have one hamper currently up for grabs on our facebook page. I am really jealous about this prize pack as I would LOVE to win it myself, but unfortunately for me (lucky for you), I can’t draw myself! To be in to win just head over to THIS Facebook post and follow the instructions. Note that there is a bonus entry by commenting on THIS blog post. NOW CLOSED
// Win a Farrah’s Prize Pack
As soon as I was offered this Farrah’s prize pack to giveaway I knew I needed to see if there was any chance I could get one of the pans for myself. I’ve wanted taco pans like these for ages but haven’t come across them or when I have they have been crazy expensive. These will be great to make home-made taco salads, simply pop a Farrah’s wrap into the taco tin and bake until crispy then add all your salad and meat!
I have three of these prize packs to giveaway which include a pack of the new Sprouted Grain wraps, taco tins and a recipe book, valued at $45. To be in to win simply comment below with the following two things…. 1. What you have been loving this month…. 2. What you would make with these Farrah’s wraps?

This month I’ve been loving the cooler weather, so lovely going for long walks without roasting but it’s still lovely so I don’t freeze. I’ve also been loving the cooler, dark nights. So much easier to get a good quality sleep. With the wraps I would make chilli and lime chicken wraps.
The month is going fast and chicken and salad wrap
I have been loving doing the weight loss challenge this month because I know it’s for charity and I would make Mexican beans and chicken stuffing for the taco pans

Chicken wraps for easy meals at work
Cooler weather makes for faster running.
We have three young kids who absolutely love wraps. Our favorite combo is probably leftover meatballs with salad and sour cream!
This month I have been loving the quieter weekends (up till now I’ve had something on every weekend)
My family loves wraps, so with this cooler weather I’d give spaghetti bol wraps a whirl.
We are in love with the new Farrah’s wraps. So far we’ve tried three flavours and we especially love the spinach ones. They’re great with chicken, hummus, homemade coleslaw with a vietnamese tangy dressing, beetroot, corn and a little cheese at dinner or lunch, but my favourite thing we have done with them is to use two of them sandwiched with tomato paste as a base for pizzas. Quick, easy and delicious! We had feta, roast pumpkin, spinach and homemade tomato relish on ours ๐ The other thing I’m loving is my handknitted chunky bed socks, perfect for the crisper autumn mornings and the cooling nights.
We have been snowed down with birthdays! And just getting out riding on our Harley ๐. It’s been wonderful.
In my wraps I would have chicken strips, with kumara & pumpkin hummus ๐ Yummy!
Hello – I’m wondering if the winner was announced for the hamper?
Hi Olivia, it sure was. It was announced on Facebook and the winner has already contacted us to claim her prize.

. 2. What you would make with these Farrahโs wraps?
healthy chicken strips coleslaw wrapped in the wrap so yum and a family favourite
Loving holding my youngest mans hands as he is learning to walk. I would love these as our 3 bundles love wraps – we have them once a week. We would use the wraps as a pizza base for a hands on kids cooking night.
Yay! I need something new to read! Will be hitting the library this week! I am looking forward finishing work at the end of this month and NESTING!!!! So glad the weather has cooled down, carrying this extra load is not easy! (but soon it will be over and I will miss it!)

I’m loving that it’s my wedding anniversary this month!!! And I would make a wrap with shredded chicken, cherry tomatoes, boiled egg, baby spinach, beetroot and a little hummus.
I’ve been loving this month (and the last few) for the capsicums! So cheap and delicious. And if I won this prize I would make stacked enchiladas aka enchilada casserole aka Mexican lasagne ๐ yum!
I would like to make greek lamb wraps
I’ve been loving the weather so much.
I would make with these sprouted grain wraps yummy wraps with marmite, original hummus that has lemon and garlic, avocardo, cottage cheese, raw grated beetroot, zucchini and carrot and some alfalfa sprouts all wrap up
I would put in original flavored hummus as a base then put in the medium salsa watties chilli bean, grated cheese, sour cream and a home made salsa salad with chopped tomato and capsicums of three colours plus corriander and a nice sweet chilli dressing then wrap it and toast it in the sandwich press’s to make the outside of the wrap crispy

Breaking out the porridge, and the slow-cooker. My first pumpkin soup (with Sabato ciabatta and red wine). Good political podcasts. Shakshouka. Hot water bottles. Helen Clark for the UN. And sprouted grain wraps? Perfect with haloumi, roast eggplant, leftover roast lamb, rocket, chargrilled cherry tomatoes and a decent glass of Rosรฉ.
What ive been loving this month is that my girls netball season has started back up & also my sons league season.
What i would use in the wraps is nothing fancy just chicken breast that i marinate in a cajun style or chinese style as flavour and fill with lettuce, tomatoes, greated carrots, cucumber slices, capsicum, greated raw beetroot, avocado,and then what ever sauces kids like to put in it.
I’ve been loving making sure I have time for me alongside 6 days full time work! It’s easy to forget to take care of yourself and make sure you’re eating well. Chicken tender wraps are what I’d love to make! Oh I love these wraps so much but always struggle to think of things to do with them
