It’s been a while since I did a round up Things I Love post, given there are quite a few things I’m loving at the moment it’s the perfect time to do a post.
First up I am Loving these workout tights from Cotton On. I purchased myself a pair on my Birthday as a treat to myself as I don’t own any workout pants that are not black. After a lot of squatting in front of the mirror to make sure they do not go see through a purchase was made and I love them, they were super cheap and comfortable.
I was sent these Watties squeeze and stir soups to try and I like that they are a quick, easy and portable snack. While they are not as thick as homemade soups they are a bit thicker than the packet soups and I like that they are ready to go, just add water. I also really like that they are preservative free, who want’s nasty preservatives in their food?!
Nicola at Eat Well NZ shared her Coconut Macaroon recipe over on her blog. The recipe is super simple and you can adjust for the sweetener of your choice. I drizzled my home made chocolate over the top of the macaroons while they were both still warm so the chocolate soaked into them. We ate these as a snack while watching old episodes of Entourage. (Another thing I love!)
Home Made Bounty Bars Ok I know it’s a recipe from my blog but I do love these, I’ve made them a couple of times now and really love the flavours and how easy they are to make. I made these when we went away to Whakatane for the weekend as our Easter treat.
I’m fairly certain I haven’t quite pimped out Zomato enough. I’m almost done, but you will keep hearing about them no doubt as they gain more traction in New Zealand as they have an awesome concept and such friendly staff and reviewers.
The experts at Red Seal have created Ginkgo Brain Alert to naturally support mental clarity, focus and alertness. My partner gave these a try and reported back that he felt like he was a step ahead of himself. He also said a week or so later that they were MAGIC!
My last order of protein bars included the relatively new Cookies & Cream Quest Bars – while they don’t quite beat my overall favourite Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough they are pretty damn awesome. White Choc chunks with Cookies chunks as well, yes please!
And Last but definitely not Least – I don’t know how I forgot to post it on the blog!! I did my first ever podcast with Leon from Leon Leonardo – he asked me to be a guest on the podcast a while back now. If your interested in hearing our thoughts on blogging, health and fitness, and what keeps us motivated then please do hop on over here and check it out!
What things are you loving at the moment?
I also love quest bars! And cookie dough flavour (so hard to get hold of now!). I have recently replaced with the double choc chunk and rasberry & white choc – delish.
I must try your ‘bounty bars’ – they sound GOOD!
I love the cookie dough so much but go for the raspberry white choc as second best. I’m not a fan of the chocolate ones but I think I’m the only one everyone else seems to love them!
Wow, them bounty bars look delicious. Never tried quest bars before. Currently using Battle Oats as my go to snack bar. Very nice indeed. I agree with Jane, I need to try those bounty bars.
