If you’re the type of person who finds they need to snack to get through the day, but you struggle to come up with healthy snack ideas (or are just bored of your current options) then you’ll love this post where I am sharing 19 Paleo Snacks, that don’t suck!
You don’t need to follow a paleo diet to enjoy these Paleo snacks. It simply means that the 19 paleo snacks I have shared do not have any refined sugar, grains or dairy which are all eliminated on a Paleo diet for various reasons, generally because they are often an irritant to people’s gut health.
I’ve split these 19 paleo snacks up into three different categories so it’s easier for you to find what you are looking for. If you’re wanting a sweet tooth paleo snack, savoury paleo snack or a bliss ball options then just check out each of the categories below.
// Sweet Tooth Paleo Snacks
// No Grainola – Paleo Granola
This is one of my recipes, and the beauty about this no grainola recipe is that you can swap out anything you don’t have on hand and substitute in what you do have, making it a really versatile snack.
//Paleo Tree Poop
It may not have the most appealing name but this Paleo tree poop will have your chocolate cravings banished in no time!
// Paleo Peanut Butter Cookies
If you’re anything like me a recipe with both peanut butter and cookie in the title will have you sold straight away! Even better that these peanut butter cookies are paleo!
// Date, Cashew, Chocolate Slice
There is something amazingly decadent about a chocolatey caramel slice and this Date, Cashew and Chocolate Slice which was originally a Nadia Lim recipe really hits that spot!

Scones are something I’ve been craving lately, yet not gotten around to making as I’d really like to try a healthier version. These Paleo Blueberry Scones may just do the trick!
// Granola Cookies
It’s been far too long since I made these delicious morsels of goodnesss! You could almost fool your non-paleo buddies with these healthy but delicious granola cookies!
// Paleo Banana Bread
There is something amazing about a good Banana bread, the smell of it cooking, eating it warm with a slather of butter or cold as a snack. This Paleo Banana bread will beat all those cravings without the added refined sugar and wheat!
// Matcha Green Tea Chia Pudding
Matcha Green Tea has been all the rage recently and Chia puddings have also been quite big for their ability to pre-prepare for an easy snack or breakfast. This Matcha Green Tea Chia Pudding is trendy and healthy!
// Paleo Nut Slice
If nuts and honey are your jam then I’d highly recommend this Paleo Nut Slice. Sure some people don’t feel that honey is Paleo, however I don’t have a problem with it in small doses as it isn’t refined.
// Paleo Pear Cinnamon Muffins
One of the things that often disappear out of your diet when you start eating more paleo is muffins, these Paleo Pear Cinnamon Muffins will really help beat those cravings you have for muffins, without the grains and refined sugar.
// Savoury Paleo Snacks
// Beef Jerky Recipe
If you crave something meaty and salty then this beef jerky recipe will be perfect for you. Beef jerky makes for a great snack because it is high and protein and very portable, it doesn’t need to be kept in the fridge.
// 10 Minutes Marinated Mushrooms
We all need to get more vegetables into our diet and what better way than to incorporate more vegetables into our snacks as well as main meals, these 10 minute marinated mushrooms not only look delicious, don’t take long to prepare, but they also go towards your daily vegetable intake.
// Kale and Pumpkin Frittata
I am personally not a Frittata fan but I know a lot of people are so I thought it would be a great idea to include this Kale and Pumpkin Frittata from the girls over at Pick and Paleo. Frittata is a great snack or main dish and they are very versatile as you can add addition vegetables if you like.
// Curried Baked Zucchini Chips
And you thought you would have to give up chips if you started to eat more Paleo Snacks? Definitely not! One of the things I always recommend to people is to play around with herbs and spices, these curried baked zucchini chips look delicious with an added kick from the curry!

These Cucumber Guacamole Appetizer Bites not only make great appetizers they also make great snacks. They are a great way to eat more vegetables whilst having a small snack which won’t ruin your appetite for the next big meal of the day.
// Paleo Bliss Balls
// Lemon, Ginger Energy Bites
I’m a big fan of bliss balls because generally you just chuck all the ingredients into the food processor, roll them into balls and your done. These Lemon Ginger Energy Bites are one of my favourite creations as they give a lovely tang from the lemon with just enough bite from the ginger.
// Paleo Cherry Cocoa Pistachio Healthy Bites
There are certain nuts that you enjoy more than others and for me those include pistachios so these Paleo Cherry Cocoa Pistachio Healthy Bites looks incredible! I also have a love for Cherries as well so this really would be a delicious snack!

I haven’t tried making caramel bliss balls yet, but you can’t go wrong with any of Nicola’s recipes so I’d highly recommend giving these caramel bliss balls a try next time your making a batch of bliss balls!
// Chocolate Mint Bliss Balls
This is another one of my recipes, but it’s so super simple and delicious you really must try it. These chocolate mint bliss balls only have 5 ingredients, all of which are easy to find at the supermarket. I’ve converted quite a few bootcampers to these chocolate mint bliss balls already 😉
Which of the above paleo snacks would you most like to try??
The mushrooms and zucchini chips look so good!
