Life; Birthday Celebrations – Quarter of a Century

It’s official; I am Old 😉
Ok so maybe not.

I had a really good weekend, there was only one person missing who luckily I get to see tomorrow.

I’m sure all I did was eat all weekend!

Birthday Brownie with Green Candles for St Patty’s / Chicken, Cranberry and Brie Filo Tart which for some reason I was grossed out by the fact it had an egg in it so didn’t actually eat that much / Hot chocolate with breakfast – usually I’d get a tea but there was up to an hour wait (50% off breakfasts that day!) and didn’t think tea would cut it.

Mmmm grapes, make that cheap grapes, mmmm / New workout top from mum & dad that has a little pocket for your IPod (annoying when running as it hits your hip but handy for walks or your keys / My NEW heart rate monitor (purchased with vouchers from my Birthday, a million thank you’s for that!), trialed it out with a short run on my Birthday on the soft sand on the beach. It was tough, I fear my running has been affected by too much netball, never fear will get back into it when Indoor and Twilight finish next month.

Haha that sign reflects exactly how I studied, saw it in the Warehouse on the weekend / Played with the Birdies over the weekend / The cat & I had a nap / The next door neighbors cat trying to ‘play’ with the birds.

C’mon girls, calling it a 2 1/2 decade doesn’t sound better than quarter of a century LOL / Two cool mugs from the girl’s at work / Green Balloon & shoes from another girl at work / Sports Bra’s also purchased with the HRM with vouchers gifted for my bday / Scrapbooking supplies and Book purchased with money ‘given’ from my Brother.

All in all I had a nice relaxing day, lots of food, lots of friends.
I had a surprise lunch with a few of the girls from work and a couple of other friends, a couple couldn’t make it but it was really nice regardless!

Dinner was roast chicken with the family and one of mum’s friends who kindly brought me a pressy, a towel/flannel/bath mat set which will be useful as I don’t think I kept much of that kind of stuff when I moved out of the flat.

Next year I won’t be at home for my birthday so was nice just chilling with the family 🙂

  1. Happy birthday!! Hope you had a great day. Hey, I have the same heart rate monitor – I love it! Hope you love yours too 🙂 I love being able to know exactly what my body is doing when I work out, instead of just guessing!
