Exercise for week ended 8 May 2011

Monday; Nil
Tuesday; 30 mins at the gym, Walked up & down the stairs * 3, 3km on spin bike
Wednesday; 30mins at the gym, 3km on spin bike.
Thursday; 30mins at gym, Approx 3km Walk, 20minute zumba express, 2km on spin bike.
Friday; Nil
Saturday; Nil
Sunday; A very short walk, maybe 2km.

Oh dear, i’m really not very co-ordinated when it comes to Zumba, next time i’ll try the basic’s dvd to see if I can actually learn some of them!

On the weekend we had prizegiving for the b/f’s racing and a race on the Saturday, that’s the first weekend in a while I havn’t really done any exercise and I did feel bad for it, if I wasn’t so tired Sunday I would have attempted a run. Excuses grrr.

Have you tried Zumba? Did you pick it up easily or feel like a bit of a fool?

  1. I go to Zumba 3 times a week. It’s run by a qualified lady who makes up the tracks herself (As far as I know). It takes me a while to get the hang of any new tracks she does, and I hate learning the new ones. I just kinda stand there and move side to side for the most part. The ones that I know, I love dancing to! So much fun when you get the hang of it!

    1. I was glad my first effort was in the comfort of my room so noone could see me, I looked like a tool! But I am going to give it a few more go’s and hopefully I can catch on to the move as well!

      I Kind of felt like I was just moving side to side as well to start with, but at least it’s moving huh!

    I am yet to try Zumba… I hear good things, but I’m scared I’ll look spastic with two left feet!!! hehe

    1. Hehe I did look like a spastic I can tell you that for free!

      I’d suggest going with a friend or two so you can laugh at each other or giving it a go at home first!
