Ok so I could be a major cop out and just say my family, cas they will definately be in my future.
But I won’t, althought I don’t really know where this is going get so it may get a bit ranty!
I think I am kinda going to copy Leah and make a bit of a list of what qualities the person I will be with in the future will have!
So lets get to these qualities;
– Someone who will greet travel with open arms, who is not afraid to take off somewhere for a year, have a honeymoon that involves backpacking around the world, taking the kids to far off and ‘exotic’ places. (So this kinda implies someone who does eventually want marriage & (a) kidylink(s) )
– Someone who is kind and honest.
– Someone who respects me and my opinions even if they don’t always think my opinion is right.
– Someone who thinks I am the most beautiful person in the world even if I occasionally in winter wear my thermal and bed socks to bed (My summer attire is a lot sexier for reals).
– Someone who is interested in my sometimes random business adventures (I’ve sold bikini’s, designer jeans, audio cd’s and been involved in a network marketing business as well as the heels – I like to do different things and have leart something from every single thing I have done) even if they don’t want to partake in them.
– Someone who is not afraid to have an idea and run with it even if the idea may fail – a can do attitude is fantastic.
There is proberly more but I am sick of typing so that looks like a decent list, now if he happens to be slightly taller than me (not hard being 5’2), have dark hair, be smoking hot and fantastic in bed all the better, but hey noones perfect right?
I think deciding what’s important to you in a partner is a great start – I know when I split up with my long term bf at 22 I took a long hard look at that, and decided that the biggest thing for me was trust & honesty (surprise surprise – the ex wasn’t all that trustworthy or honest!!). And it might mean you compromise in other areas – coz hey, not everyone is perfect!
Good way to get around the hard prompt huh?!!!!
Yeah I agree I think there are things that a non-negotiable eg honesty and other things that would be nice but are not deal breakers, who cares if he leaves the toilet seat down if he is trustworthy etc
Love the way to get around this prompt, I seriously just stared at the screen for ages trying to work out what on earth I was going to write!
That sounds like me! Cept I’m probably not much taller, nor do I have dark hair, or am I smoking hot or fantastic in bed (at least not with guys, might be with a girl!) Maybe we should give it a go π haha!
hahaha Kristyn love it!! How about if things don’t work out with our ‘others’ by the time were 40 we give it a shot π
Why wait till 40 girl?! Lets make it 30! ha!
lol cas I figure then we have a good 10 years of being cougars before we settle down π
