Sometimes you just need chocolate or peanut butter, my preference is to have them together. I have create a Clean Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark recipe to satisfy these cravings without the lull that often follows such sugary treats.
This recipe for the clean peanut butter chocolate bark is completely refined sugar free, dairy free, gluten free as well as being vegan! It can also be paleo friendly if the peanut butter is swapped for almond butter!
If you don’t like hazelnuts you can swap them out for any nuts of your choice, you could even swap out the coconut chips for something else of your liking. Pistachios and cranberries would go quite nicely I reckon.
This recipe is super easy and doesn’t take long at all. You simply melt together the ingredients in a saucepan over a low heat, pour into a tin lined with baking paper and pop into the freezer for 20-30minutes to set, then break apart and indulge!
Think about making this Clean Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark for Christmas presents or just to share on the day, it makes a great tasty treat that you can feel comfortable eating knowing that it isn’t full of refined sugar and other nasty ingredients.

Have you ever had chocolate bark before? – I’d love it if you commented below and let me know π
LOVE this recipe! So easy, yet healthy and I’m sure it’s so yummy! I have to make this, but will leave out the hazelnuts (unfortunately) as my daughter is highly allergic to tree nuts.
Oh no that’s not fun for your daughter! The good thing about this recipe is that you can swap and change ingredients and it doesn’t really matter π
This looks really awesome. What a great way to use peanut butter. I love your photos too!
Michelle
Thanks Michelle π
Oh seriously? I am in SUCH trouble now. Chocolate? Peanut butter?? Coconut oil?? You have 3 of my favorite things in one simple recipe. Let the holiday love handle construction project commence. π (Okay FINE. I’ll exercise. But only for the chocolate and peanut butter.)
Thanks for stopping by Katie π So glad you like the recipe, it’s a lot better for you than the normal chocolates that fly around this time of the year π
I don’t eat peanut butter very often and when I do I buy organic at my local grocery, but I like the idea of making this at home so I know what the heck is in it!
Organic peanut butter always tastes so much better than standard PB! π
One of the things I love best about barks is how customizable they are! I love your clean version, and I will definitely be making it this holiday season for my mom who can’t have dairy or refined sugars, thanks :).
I’m so glad you can use the recipe for your mum! I love how customizable they are as well, you can add as many or few ingredients as you like. I think I would like some chopped glacΓ©ed cherries in it too π
Always looking for healthy sweet options for the holidays when we’re bombarded with so many unhealthy choices! Looks great!
Thanks Cynthia, the great thing is that it tastes naughty!
