Did anyone else have a bit of a freak out when their brain realised it was December? Yeah, what?! How on earth did it come around so quickly?
Now is about the time when I start wondering what on earth to buy my loved ones for Christmas and I’m sure there are plenty of others out there who have the same issues.
This is why I’ve put together my Christmas Gift Guides again – today is the first of these guides which is my Christmas Gift Guide for the Traveler in your life!
1. Mini Instax Camera
I’ve been eyeing up these Mini Instax Cameras over the past few months as I think they are a super cute way to get photo’s of both everyday life and some of the cool places we travel too. As they are mini Polaroid type photo’s you could also use them in a scrapbook down the track which is a great way to reminisce about your trips!
2. Scratch Map
These Scratch maps are an awesome idea for the traveler in your life. Especially those who you really have no idea what to get them! They work kind of like a scratchie ticket in that you scratch off the places in the world that you have visited. It’d be a great reminder of all the places you have been as well as a bit of an incentive to get out there and see some more of the world.
3. Packing Cells
Packing Cells are a great gift for those who travel frequently as they can be used to split up your different clothes. For example you can put all your tops in one cell and bottoms in another cell which makes it super easy to locate what you need out of your suitcase or backpack. Instead of pulling everything out you can just pull the packing cell out which has whatever you need in it.
4. Collapsible Cutlery
This collapsible cutlery is a great gift for both travelers and anyone who enjoys getting out in the outdoors. There have been so many times when we have purchased our own food to save money and then realised that we don’t have any cutlery to eat it with. Generally we just grab some plastic cutlery from the supermarkets in these instances but this collapsible cutlery would make life so much easier! Plus, less plastic wastage!
5. Travel Adaptors
Travel Adaptors are perfect for the person who has a specific trip coming up. NZ electronics can’t be readily used overseas unless you have an adaptor for the specific part of the world you are travelling too. For example if you are going to the USA you need a different adaptor than if you are going to Europe.
6. Best in Travel
The Best in Travel books are a personal favourite of mine and I quite often ask for them for Christmas if there is nothing else I have been wanting or needing as Lonely Planet release a new one every year. They are also really affordable (under $30)!
Don’t forget to check back over the next couple of weeks to see all my other Christmas Gift Guides!
