There’s something to be said about being accountable for your actions.
I’m sure everyone has had someone tell them this at some point in their life…
– track your food it will make you accountable
– write down your goals / tell someone your goals, it will make you accountable
Well I think they are right, I’ve been writting down my exercise each week for the best part of the year and a bit of last year.
While it doesn’t make for exciting blog posts (neither does this mind you), it has helped to keep me accountable.
I log in each morning and write my exercise for the previous day in the blog post then at the end of the week hit publish (I have the worst memory ever and would forget what I’d done otherwise!).
Take today for example, I really can not be bothered exercising, but I see my exercise log for the week and both Monday & Tuesday have nothing in them, so I am going to haul my butt to the gym after work so there isn’t three days in a row with no exercise on them. If I didn’t write down the exercise I do I would never give it a second thought.
How do you hold yourself accountable for your actions?
