It’s that time again! Time to look back over the month and see what things I loved! This month was the first month in quite a while that I have been back to part time hours the whole month and it has been great! While the decrease in pay has been a bit of a shock it has been awesome being able to focus a little more on Bootcamp and Scentsy and spend more time with Kyle!
// Powerlifting
I competed in my first ever powerlifting competition and I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot and ended up lifting more than my goal overall which I was happy with, even though there is still plenty of room for improvement. I also ended up getting the second best female lifter in the open class which was a nice surprise.
// Food Show
I couldn’t mention this on Social Media or the blog until today in case my Dad read it (it was a surprise trip for him for a special birthday) but we are heading up to Auckland as this post goes live and will be attending the Food Show which I am super excited about and can’t wait to do a review of it for you all! It’s on until Sunday so if you are in Auckland and have nothing better to do, head along!
// Chocolate Peanut Butter Quinoa Slice
My Chocolate Peanut Butter Quinoa Slice is my new favourite thing to make as it has all the requirements to a super tasty snack, which for me are peanut butter and chocolate 😉 The Quinoa puffs add a nice texture too it as well and it’s not that bad for you as an every now and again treat.
// 2000 Facebook Fans
Over on our Facebook page we went over 2,000 fans and are now heading in for 2,500! Thanks to each and every one of you! And if you don’t already like us then please do go give us a like. We’ll keep you up to date on all the happenings on the blog as well as tips and tricks, motivation and the occasional competition!
// Learning to Save Lives
At the start of the month I got all responsible and completed a first aid course. It was pretty to easy to do and I don’t know why more people don’t do them as you could realistically save someones life with the knowledge you gain!
// Scent of the Month
Oooh I love picking a Scent of the Month! This has to be Just Breathe again, it’s perfect for this time of the year when colds and flu’s are running rampant, with eucalyptus, zesty lemon, and a medley of mints to comfort and rejuvenate. If you want to check out the Scentsy Wickless Candles and Scents I sell then check out my website here.
What have you been loving this month??
Congrats on the 2nd place in the powerlifting meet, that’s awesome! Going to try the chocolate, peanut butter and quinoa slice if I can find the puffed quinoa anywhere over here
