You’d think that now that I no longer have to study that I’d be constantly wondering what to do with myself. Turns out that isn’t the case at all, I think the past month since I’ve been back (Yeah it’s been a month, time sure does fly!) I’ve been busier than I ever was when I studied. At least the difference now is I’m busy with things I actually like doing rather than head down in a (incredibly boring) text-book.
While this works out well for someone who likes to keep busy (and needs the busyness to make the next few months pass quicker), it can be quiet draining doing something most nights during the week and then having something on most weekends.
There have been a lack of regular blog posts with a bit of a spurt where I will write a few posts then schedule them to post a couple of days apart and then nothing for a couple of weeks.
I need to get myself into a routine that includes blogging as so far I have managed to get the exercise, reading and social encounters down pat.
I found a cool app for android which creates collages out of the pictures on your phone so without further ado, some random moments from the past month.
From Left to Right, Top to Bottom;
1. An excerpt from ‘Run fat b!tch, Run’ which I haven’t read but a girl at work was telling me about it, am adding it to my ‘to read’ queue.
2. Typical lunch at the moment, a sandwich thin which chicken & low fat cheese slice and small salad with more chicken.
3. I just finished reading The Art of Non Conformity, good book, lots to get you thinking.
4. Weight Watchers jelly for those sugar cravings and 3.30itis.
5. Breakfast this week, fruit salad, yoghurt and muesli. Which unfortunately does not appear to be filling me up so will need an alternative.
6. Platform 9 1/2 at the Wellington Train Station.
7. My full calendar for March, more has been added since that photo was taken.
8. Plums from one of the fruit and vege vendors on the drive to Wellington, it almost looked like a heart, not that you can tell from that pic!
1. Sign for the Pat Benatar concert in Taupo.
2. My car door amidst being pulled apart as the window is failing me.
3. Homemade Lemoncello sneaked into the Pat Benatar Concert.
4. I won the Super15 for work for a week, I don’t see a repeat of this in my future.
5. Hot Chocolate at the local BNZ centre where we had a training day for work.
6. The silo’s down on the Auckland waterfront where I went for an early morning walk.
7. The best meal ever, my last meal overseas in which I found a lot of vegetables! Chicken, sauce and lots of vege.
8. Iced Chocolate at a work social event where I was Sober Sally and over Diet Coke.
For someone who generally doesn’t like to drink her calories I have been going to town this month by the looks of it. Time to reign that in!
I’ve been slack at using my proper camera so far this year so might have to look into getting some photos printed from my phone, not sure how well that will work out.
