Skin Issues

Oh what I wouldn’t give to have awesome skin like that ^!

Ok lovely ladies (and gents? if there are any out there!) I need some advice, I’ve gotten to the point that I have had enough with my skin being Shit basically!

I don’t wear makeup (Partly due to not knowing how to use it, partly due to being lazy) so that isn’t the issue. However I only ever wash my face with water and a flannel, generally never use moisturiser and am bad at picking.

So I need your advice, I am cheap and won’t spend a tonne of money on skin care – although I know I at least need to invest in a half decent moisturiser.

I also need something that doesn’t take too much time, I’m too lazy to use 3-4 products twice a day, but know at least to begin with I might need to do this to clear up my skin.

What do you lovely ladies do for your skincare routine, what would you suggest I do?

  1. I use Cetaphil, both the moisturiser and the cleanser. It’s very neutral, great for sensitive skin/skin that isn’t used to products and it is found ALL over the world (this was important for me travelling). It’s also cheap.

I used to use Trilogy cleanser & moisturiser & toner and I LOVED IT. I just switched to something a little less pricey & easier to find while travelling.

    1. I forgot all about Cetaphil, I got some samples a few years back and it was nice on the skin – I might have to give this a try as well! Later this week i’ll go see what I can find!

  2. I use Olay Moisturising Cream for sensitive skin, it looks like this: http://bit.ly/oPA5X9 and you can buy it from supermarkets or Farmers for around $17. My routine is to wash my face at night with a soap-free cleanser (I use Health Basics Milk & Honey liquid soap) then I apply the Olay moisturiser. Two steps, once a day.

    1. Thanks for the comment, I used to use an Olay moisturiser a couple of years back when I was good at using moisturiser and I really liked how it didn’t make my skin greasy so this could be the perfect solution! I’ll have to have a look around for the cleanser as well. Thanks heaps 🙂

  3. Oh I wish I knew Amanda! I have the same problem with blackheads. Ugh, they’re disgusting and I just can’t get rid of them! I’ve yet to find an AMAZING solution. I’m very tempted to go to a skin doctor (can’t spell it lol), and see what they say.

    1. Maybe try Cetaphil like Leah suggested? I did use it ages ago and it was pretty good, going to give it another try!
