This year I wanted to do something a little bit different on the blog, by focusing 100% on setting that New Year’s intention correctly and making the most of your New Year’s motivation to really make a change so that it becomes a lifestyle change rather than something that you do for a few weeks and then give up, feeling bad for quitting but knowing that everything will be okay as you’ve quit every other year as well and things worked themselves out.
Today’s New Year’s Slim Down is all about getting us to eat Healthier Breakfasts, and by healthier I want you to realise that it doesn’t have to mean tasteless or boring food at all! There are so many amazing things you can make that contain 100% nutritious foods! I don’t often post about my breakfasts as they are rather boring and predictable. I alternate between only a few things depending on what day of the week it is and whether I am at home or having breakfast at work after Bootcamp in the morning.
My three breakfasts generally are:
- Oats and Protein Powder
- Smoothie with Protein Powder
- Bacon and Eggs
The breakfasts I have most often are generally on the light side and not eaten until an hour or two after I have been awake as I find eating too much early in the morning difficult. I know that there are a lot of people out there who like to have some more options when it comes to breakfasts and find things like oats and smoothies boring so I thought I would give you some more healthy breakfast recipes.
