It’s been a little while since I last did a things I love post, and things have changed a lot over the past couple of months. We both quit our jobs and moved back to Wanganui from Auckland, a huge change of direction which will hopefully lead us to bigger and better things.
In amongst the moving and setting up of said, bigger and better things we managed to do a little bit of camping in our beautiful country. We went to Te Haruhi Bay in Whangaparaoa as well as to Upper Mangatawhiri in the Hunua Ranges.
Both places were just beautiful and a lovely escape from the city at the start of the year. Since then we have been working on some fantastic new projects.
For the start of 2015 I have been loving the following things:
// Bootcamp
We have set up a new website and venture for Bootcamps in Wanganui. It is pretty exciting and a bit nerve wracking at the same time. We have just released the details of the first intake after an extensive amount of work on the website, with my limited website knowledge. If you know anyone in Wanganui send them our way 😉
// Triathlon
I’m not sure that I would say I love it, but I am super proud of myself for training for [okay barely], and completing my first triathlon. I really suck at swimming and I was well behind everyone else coming out of the water but I caught a bunch of people up on the run and I’m happy I did it and completed it.
// Scentsy
I have been waiting for a long time for Scentsy to come to New Zealand. Scentsy is a [huge] range of wickless candles or warmers with a ridiculous number of amazing scents. Think vanilla bean, salted caramel cupcake and countless other scents including florals, bakery scents and berries. I am going to be one of the first Independent Consultants when it launches in NZ on 10 March – let me know if you’d like to join me! Otherwise I’ll let you know when you can purchase!
// Interviewing some amazing people
It has been a little while since I have posted up one of our Inspiring People Interviews, these are something I want to continue in 2015. I have a few amazing people lined up [and always looking for more!], which will go live in the coming months.
// Hawaii
I’ve written about it in the last few blog posts as it is now getting so close that I am getting a wee bit [okay a lot] excited! We are heading to Hawaii for 9 nights this week and I can not wait! I’m looking forward to exploring somewhere new, doing some shopping, relaxing on the beach and climbing Diamond Head.
// Watermelon Smoothie
I haven’t tried it yet but I spied this Watermelon Smoothie over on EatwellNZ last week and it looks amazing. Watermelon is awesome as it is mostly water! Watermelons are usually cheaper at this time of the year as well which makes it the perfect time to give this Watermelon Smoothie Recipe a go!
What have you been loving so far this year????
My SIL is becoming a Scentsy consultant too! Can’t wait for my home to smell amazing.
That’s super exciting! Do you know what country her sponsor is from? I can’t wait for my house to smell awesome either!!
One of her good friends from Australia.
